Hours:
22 hours & 33 hours per week contracts available Shift Pattern: 7.30 am to 7.30 pm (or 7.30 pm to 7.30 am) x 2 or 3 days or nights a week , including weekends (usually alternate) and bank holiday work Pay: £12.98 per hour All new team members are required to attend an induction at one of our training rooms in S13 or S3 prior to starting work in the care home.
These are run every three weeks, starting on a Tuesday, between 9:30am until 3:30/4pm.

To support and assist our residents within our care home to live as independently as possible To empower people to make their own decisions and choices To provide support with personal care (e.g. washing, going to the bathroom, dressing, eating and drinking) To offer physical and emotional support to our residents To help our residents participate with daily living tasks and activities To encourage engagement of our residents in social and wellbeing activities To assist with health care and personal appointments Only where trained to do so, to administer medication To undertake manual handling, using equipment when required To support positive relationships with our residents, their family, colleagues and professionals To record care using mobile technology To uphold the Sheffcare values To implement and uphold safe working practices in line with our regulations and our policies and procedures To attend regular training where required Sheffcare is an independent local charity established in 1994 and cares for older people and people living with dementia in our nine residential care homes across Sheffield.
