Job summary

Neurodevelopmental Assessor for Adult and Paediatric
ADHD & Autism Assessments and Diagnosis One Health is looking for an experienced Neurodevelopmental
Assessor to join our growing Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and
evolving service focused on delivering high-quality ADHD and Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) assessments for NHS patients across both adult and child
neurodevelopmental pathways.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting
the delivery and development of this service, helping to ensure timely access
to clinically robust assessments and excellent patient care. Working closely
with Consultant Psychiatrists and other members of the multidisciplinary team,
you will contribute to a patient-centred service that maintains the highest
standards of clinical quality, governance and patient experience.

Work will be carried out through a combination of remote and
face-to-face clinics, depending on service requirements.

Main duties of the jobThe role will involve supporting and undertaking
comprehensive assessments and diagnosis for patients referred for potential
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder
(ASD).

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting
ADHD and Autism assessments in line with NICE guidance and best clinical
practice.

- Reviewing
referral documentation, screening questionnaires and supporting evidence.

- Gathering
developmental histories and collateral information from patients, parents,
carers and other relevant sources.

- Undertaking
structured clinical interviews and neurodevelopmental assessments.

- Producing
detailed assessment reports and recommendations.

- Communicating
assessment outcomes and recommendations to patients, families and referrers.

- Working
collaboratively with Consultant Psychiatrists, multidisciplinary colleagues and
administrative teams.

- Maintaining
accurate clinical records and adhering to relevant professional, clinical
governance and regulatory standards.

- Supporting
the ongoing development and quality improvement of One Health's
neurodevelopmental services.

- Participating
in audit, quality improvement and clinical governance activities as required.

- Participating
in clinical supervision and continuing professional development activities.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential-Current registration with the NMC, HCPC or another relevant UK professional regulatory body.

-Minimum of two years' post-registration clinical experience.

-Demonstrable experience in the assessment of ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.

-Experience gathering developmental histories and conducting clinical assessments.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Experience producing detailed clinical reports and documentation.

-Strong understanding of NICE guidance relating to ADHD and Autism.

-Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high clinical and governance standards.
