Position: Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)
Job summary

Main duties of the job Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients presenting with minor illness
Utilise advanced clinical reasoning and independent prescribing skills
Identify red flags and escalate appropriately in line with clinical governance
Support patient flow in a busy urgent care setting
Contribute to a strong culture of safety, quality, and teamwork

Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) | Sheffield Walk-in Centre | Full-Time (40) or Part-Time Can Be Considered Are you an experienced ACP ? Sheffield Walk-in Centre is recruiting a confident, autonomous Advanced Clinical Practitioner to predominantly manage minor illness presentations across all age groups, including paediatrics. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role within a supportive, clinically led environment.

Main Duties Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients presenting with minor illness

Utilise advanced clinical reasoning and independent prescribing skills

Identify red flags and escalate appropriately in line with clinical governance

Support patient flow in a busy urgent care setting

Contribute to a strong culture of safety, quality, and teamwork Working Pattern 7-day rolling rota Service operating hours: 08:00-22:30

What We Offer Salary Up to 65,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience (pro-rata)
NHS pensionCPD support, including access to study leave and development opportunities
