We have an exciting opportunity for Night Recovery Workers to join our new 24/7, 365-day mental health service in Gleadless and Heeley, Sheffield.
Our service provides non-clinical mental health support designed to prevent unnecessary attendance at A&E and support people who may have been discharged from hospital but are not yet ready to return home.

Working overnight, you will play an important role in providing a safe, supportive and recovery-focused environment for people experiencing mental health difficulties. We are looking for compassionate and experienced individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges.
As a Night Recovery Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with a range of mental health needs. You will conduct wellbeing and welfare checks, support people to manage their mental health and emotional wellbeing, respond appropriately to incidents and crisis situations, and promote independence, dignity and recovery. You will also maintain accurate records, contribute to risk management and safeguarding, and liaise with colleagues and external agencies where appropriate.
Working independently during the night, you will need to be confident in responding calmly and professionally to a range of situations, whilst ensuring the environment remains safe, respectful and inclusive.

Night Recovery Worker Hours of work: 35 hours per week Salary: £24,833.20 per annum, with progression to £27,419.46 per annum (plus enhancements for unsociable hours)
