To provide HR support and guidance on a range of people related matters across the employee lifecycle. Partnering with our teams, you will collaborate closely with managers and employees to drive HR initiatives, promote a positive work environment, and ensure the alignment of HR practices with organisational goals and values.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting managers on all people issues
  • Support in induction process
  • Supporting on employee relations, guiding managers to manage processes effectively
  • Management of sickness absence, working with managers to take appropriate action
  • Provide regular communications to managers and teams on best practice HR
  • Support and facilitate training and development, working with the Performance and Development team
  • Develop strong engagement, wellbeing and development initiatives to focus retention and succession planning
  • Support the HR team in delivering the people strategy
  • Working with the HR team to ensure HR goals and objectives are met and the business receives a professional HR service
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of employment law changes and share with the organisation where necessary
  • Ensuring accurate records are kept in line with legislative requirements
  • Supports the wider HR team with any Projects or additional ad‑hoc duties from time to time as required
  • Provide coaching and upskilling to managers regarding people issues including, but not limited to, disciplinaries, grievances, probations, absence management, flexible working and performance improvement
  • Note taking at formal meetings
  • To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate for the role
Person Specification Qualifications
  • A full clean driving licence with access to a car
  • CIPD Level 3 or relevant experience
Knowledge
  • Importance of confidentiality and following GDPR requirements
  • Understanding of the working time regulations
  • Adept with Microsoft Office package
  • Working knowledge of Employment Law
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Employment Law - desirable
