To provide HR support and guidance on a range of people related matters across the employee lifecycle. Partnering with our teams, you will collaborate closely with managers and employees to drive HR initiatives, promote a positive work environment, and ensure the alignment of HR practices with organisational goals and values.
Responsibilities- Supporting managers on all people issues
- Support in induction process
- Supporting on employee relations, guiding managers to manage processes effectively
- Management of sickness absence, working with managers to take appropriate action
- Provide regular communications to managers and teams on best practice HR
- Support and facilitate training and development, working with the Performance and Development team
- Develop strong engagement, wellbeing and development initiatives to focus retention and succession planning
- Support the HR team in delivering the people strategy
- Working with the HR team to ensure HR goals and objectives are met and the business receives a professional HR service
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of employment law changes and share with the organisation where necessary
- Ensuring accurate records are kept in line with legislative requirements
- Supports the wider HR team with any Projects or additional ad‑hoc duties from time to time as required
- Provide coaching and upskilling to managers regarding people issues including, but not limited to, disciplinaries, grievances, probations, absence management, flexible working and performance improvement
- Note taking at formal meetings
- To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed
- Any other duties deemed appropriate for the role
- A full clean driving licence with access to a car
- CIPD Level 3 or relevant experience
- Importance of confidentiality and following GDPR requirements
- Understanding of the working time regulations
- Adept with Microsoft Office package
- Working knowledge of Employment Law
- Comprehensive knowledge of Employment Law - desirable
