Overview

Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Trades & Labour – Independent recruitment agency for temporary Construction and Engineering personnel is seeking a Trainee Consultant to join a busy T&L team.

Your journey will begin with a 6-month focus on resourcing. As you grow in the role, you’ll progress into a Trainee Consultant, taking charge of your own patch!

Trainee Recruitment Consultant Duties will include:

• Resourcing of Labourers, Ground workers, Bricklayers, Carpenters, Electricians, Roofers, Plasterers, Drivers, etc.
• Advertising vacancies by placing adverts in a wide range of media.
• Resourcing candidates via database, job boards, and referrals.
• Referencing and checking workers have the correct certificates (CSCS/PPE).
• Receiving and reviewing applications and creating a shortlist.

Trainee Recruitment Consultant Background skills:

• Recruitment industry or Trades background is highly desirable or sales experience (B2B or B2C (Estate Agent, Finance, Insurance, Telesales, Product sales, etc.))
• Happy to pick up the phone and make calls.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Salary: £24,000 to £28,000 (doe) + Commission + Benefits + Career progression to Recruitment Consultant.
