Overview
Senior Performance Analyst at Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. The closing date is 15 February 2026. This role involves using data to improve decision-making for patients and staff, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and presenting analytical insights.
We’re looking to appoint a Senior Performance Analyst to join our Performance and Analytics Team. It’s an exciting time as we leverage our new electronic patient record (EPR) system and a data warehouse alongside Power BI to become a more data-driven organisation. We offer training and on-the-job development, including Power BI, and a hybrid working model with travel to various clinical sites as required.
Interviews will be held on 16th, 17th & 18th March.
Main duties of the jobThe Performance and Analytics Team at Sheffield Partnership:
- ensures performance is measured, monitored and managed in all areas of the Trust in accordance with its Performance Improvement Framework;
- provides the Trust and key partners with reporting, business intelligence and analytics services;
- supports the Trust to understand clinical activity recorded in its electronic patient record (EPR) systems.
Senior Performance Analysts are specialists who use analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in data, reporting and performance. They convert data into actionable insight, supporting clinical and corporate colleagues to understand performance and opportunities to improve. They line manage a small number of Performance Analysts and contribute to the continuous learning and development culture of the team.

Job responsibilitiesLine manage a small number of Performance Analysts.
Support colleagues (up to head of service level) to make the best use of EPR data and performance information.
