Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum

Role overview
As a Delivery & Change Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects and change initiatives that support the organisation’s strategic roadmap. This role is ideal for someone with proven delivery experience who is ready to take ownership of end-to-end project execution, from planning through to implementation and benefits realisation. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively, with a focus on value, pace, and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of multiple projects and change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic outcomes.
- Lead planning, execution, and implementation activities across your portfolio, applying appropriate delivery methodologies.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure timely reporting of delivery status and outcomes.
- Engage stakeholders across the business to ensure clarity, alignment, and support for delivery activities.
- Facilitate change adoption and embed new ways of working, ensuring initiatives are sustained post-implementation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices and support the evolution of the transformation function.
- Collaborate with other delivery managers and leads to ensure consistency and shared learning across the portfolio.

- Proactive management of risks, issues, and dependencies across your portfolio.
- Contribution to the maturity and effectiveness of delivery and change practices within the organisation.
What will you need to succeed?
Experience
- The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing the delivery of projects or change initiatives, ideally within a portfolio or programme environment.
- You’ll be comfortable working across the full delivery lifecycle, from planning through to implementation, and will understand how to navigate risks, dependencies, and stakeholder dynamics.
- Experience applying delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) in real‑world settings is important, along with a track record of driving outcomes and embedding change effectively.
Knowledge
- A solid understanding of delivery and change principles, including project life cycles, stakeholder engagement, and value realisation, is essential.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies is beneficial.
Skills
- Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders.
- You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving needs.
Qualifications
- Formal delivery or change management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile
PM, Scrum Master, Prosci) are desirable but not essential. - What matters most is your practical experience and ability to apply delivery principles effectively to drive outcomes.
