Business Development Manager – Junior and Senior roles!

Managed IT Services, Cloud & Modern Workplace

Hybrid – Sheffield (2–3 days per week) + client sites across Sheffield

Compensation:

£35–45k base + Double OTE (Junior to Mid)

We’re partnering with an award-winning, fast-growing Managed Service Provider to hire Business Development professionals at multiple levels, from Junior / Executive through to Senior / Manager, to drive growth across Managed IT Services, Cloud, and Modern Workplace solutions.

This is a chance to join a nationally recognised technology partner supporting over 2,000 UK clients, known for its people-first culture, strong leadership, and genuine investment in career progression. With a refreshed brand and ambitious growth plans, this team is expanding its commercial function to accelerate new business.

The Opportunity

Depending on level and experience, you’ll focus on new business growth, supported by marketing, pre-sales, and account teams:

  • Drive new client acquisition across Managed IT Services, Cloud, and Modern Workplace.
  • Develop pipeline through outbound activity, referrals, networking, and events.
  • Work closely with solution architects and technical specialists to build tailored proposals.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert opportunities aligned to client challenges.
  • Present solutions confidently to stakeholders at varying levels.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM discipline (Salesforce / Net Suite).
  • Contribute to wider business development strategy, campaigns, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Attend client meetings and industry events as required.

Senior-level hires will additionally:

  • Lead larger, more complex sales cycles
  • Support or mentor junior team members
  • Influence territory strategy and commercial planning

Experience:

  • B2B sales or business development experience within IT services, MSP, Cloud, Modern Workplace, or technology solutions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, target-driven approach with genuine curiosity about technology.
  • Confidence using CRM and sales tools (Salesforce / Net Suite preferred).
  • Ambition to grow within a high-performance, collaborative environment.
