Lead Business Analyst – Tier 1 Investment Bank
OverviewA leading Tier 1 Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Business Analyst Lead to support a major transformation programme. This high‑visibility role requires strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams – including IT, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Compliance – to assess and document the end‑to‑end business and IT process impacts of transferring IT assets to a new entity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Facilitate Cross‑Functional Workshops: Engage business stakeholders and SMEs to understand deliverables, dependencies, and operational impacts.
- Meeting Management: Prepare agendas, documentation, and presentations; ensure structured, outcome‑driven discussions and follow‑up actions.
- Documentation & Tracking: Produce clear, comprehensive documentation including process maps, impact assessments, and risk logs.
- Change Impact & Risk Assessment: Identify process interdependencies and potential risks, supporting mitigation planning and governance reporting.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong lines of communication with all stakeholder groups, providing consistent updates and insights.
- Operational Readiness & Process Design: Partner with business units to define new operating models, controls, and SLAs for the Hold Co environment.
- Training & Alignment: Support readiness activities by coordinating training needs and ensuring alignment between business and technical teams.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst Lead, Project Lead or Senior BA on large‑scale transformation or entity establishment programmes.
- Strong track record within financial services or investment banking.
- Demonstrated expertise in workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and business impact analysis.
- Excellent documentation, analytical and communication skills.
- Experience working across multiple business functions – IT, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Procurement, etc.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, actionable outputs.
- Initial 6‑month contract
- £600 per day inside IR35
- Hybrid (2× week in London)
