Team Lead - Computer Vision

A high‑growth sports technology business operating at the intersection of advanced computer vision, real‑time data, and immersive digital experiences is seeking a team lead to lead and scale its ML function.

This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role with full ownership of machine learning strategy, delivery, and team development in a product‑led environment where ML is core to the business.

• Own and define the end‑to‑end machine learning strategy aligned to company and product goals
• Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing team of ML engineers and researchers
• Oversee delivery of production‑grade ML models, with a strong focus on computer vision (e.g. detection, tracking, key‑points, segmentation)
• Drive best practices across model development, evaluation, deployment, and lifecycle management
• Lead architectural decisions across models, tooling, MLOps, and infrastructure
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders to turn complex technical capability into real business impact

• 7+ years’ experience in machine learning, including senior leadership or management responsibility
• Strong track record of deploying ML models into real‑world production environments
• Deep expertise in Python and modern ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, Tensor Flow)
• Experience owning or shaping MLOps, CI/CD, cloud‑based ML infrastructure (AWS or similar)
• Background in computer vision is highly desirable
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on technical depth
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and operate in fast‑paced environments
