Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Purpose

We're currently hiring for a QA Engineer at Bromford, and looking for someone with proven experience as a Hybrid Automation Tester using performance testing tools, JMeter and Gatling is essential, and strong proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test Strategy and Planning
• Test Automation Development
• Manual Testing
• Test Execution and Reporting
• Maintenance and Enhancement
• Test Process Improvement

EXPERIENCE

Must have

• Demonstrable experience in a customer focused quality assurance automation role
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools
• Experience or understanding of proprietary Automation tools like Test Complete Pro/Test Sigma
• Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI) is a plus.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365

Practical/Technical knowledges

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) for test automation scripting
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, pytest)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices
• Experience with performance testing tools - JMeter and Gatling is a MUST
