Role Overview/Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Oracle EPM ARCS Architect to lead and support a global business with its Oracle EPM ARCS implementations and ongoing support initiatives. This role will focus on aligning ARCS processes with business objectives, working closely with financial and accounting teams to ensure the system meets organizational requirements. The ideal candidate will bring both functional and technical expertise in Oracle EPM ARCS to lead complex projects and optimise reconciliation processes.

  • Lead the support and development of Oracle EPM ARCS (Reconciliation Compliance and Transaction Matching module)
  • Contribute on designing the strategic vision and roadmap for EPM ARCS
  • Lead workshops to gather business requirements and document functional specifications
  • Design and implement data flows between ARCS and other financial systems.
  • Assist with ARCS administration, development, enhancements and support.
  • Analyze and assess existing reconciliation processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization within Oracle EPM ARCS.
  • Collaborate closely with accounting and finance teams to understand business requirements, translate them into ARCS configurations, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long‑term strategies for ARCS usage and integration with other financial systems.
  • Work closely with functional teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements, process automation, and optimization.
  • Document technical configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides, maintaining a knowledge base for internal use.
  • Stay updated with Oracle EPM ARCS updates and new features, making recommendations for system improvements and upgrades.
  • Lead user training sessions, develop training materials, and support change management efforts to drive user adoption and proficiency in ARCS.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business units and technical teams to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and audit teams to understand and refine reconciliation processes within ARCS
  • Provide functional insights to optimize and streamline reconciliation workflows, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and ensure timely issue resolution
  • Active role in coaching and developing junior team members to inspire excellence and continue to expand the knowledge base
  • Ability to understand and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical specifications
  • Support users within the EPM community and in the wider business enabling EPM functionalities to be leveraged in an efficient manner across the business
  • Collaborating effectively and actively with key business partners to identify and implement continuous process and system improvements to drive business initiatives
  • Supporting system training programs and conducting training sessions to global business users
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle EPM ARCS functionalities, with the ability to map business processes to ARCS technical requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Oracle EPM ARCS from a technical and functional standpoint
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Oracle EPM ARCS projects and managing cross‑functional teams
  • Experience with other Oracle EPM modules (e.g. FCCS, PBCS, EDM) is a plus
  • Proficiency in EPM Data Management
  • Experience in ODI is a plus
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with relational & multidimensional databases, data integration and data transformation
  • Proactivity and innovation – capacity to take the initiative to identify improvements in processes and assist management in implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
  • Flexible, enjoying a frequently changing and fast paced environment
  • You are motivated to learn new technologies and expand your functional and technical expertise to other Oracle EPM Cloud products
