Data Manager

Location: Sheffield, UK (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Data Intelligence & Analytics team and play a pivotal role in managing enterprise data that directly influences board-level decisions and high-profile financial schemes.

As a Data Manager
, you will be the single responsible person for our key enterprise data relating to a specific asset class. You will oversee the collection, validation, cleansing, and transformation of data from a range of internal and external delivery partners (including investment funds and challenger banks).

Acting as the principal subject matter expert on this data, you will ensure the timely provision of accurate analytical datasets to support critical reporting across various banking programmes.

Additionally, you will provide task management and coordination for a pool of up to 4 FTE at Analyst grades.

Data Quality Control: Implement automated technical audits to maintain data accuracy and align financial info with control logs.

Data Integration: Manage the migration, transformation, and validation of datasets into the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Leadership: Lead an analyst team to ensure technical standards and schedules are met for all data tasks.

Stakeholder Management: Act as lead expert, advising C-suite and partnering with departments to resolve data discrepancies.

Governance: Assess future data needs and provide strategic guidance on BI architecture.

• Proven expertise in Power BI, Power Query, and DAX

• Extensive background in validating precise financial data

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Azure stack.
