Oracle Technical Support Analyst

Location:
Sheffield - 5 days in office

Salary: £57,569.74

We are seeking a dedicated Oracle Technical Support Analyst to join our team at GFSL.

As an Oracle Technical Support Analyst, you will provide technical and functional support for our Oracle Fusion system which provides HR and Procurement applications that underpin critical operational services within the prison environment. You will be responsible for maintaining system stability, performance, and data integrity, while supporting ongoing optimisation and digitalisation initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide second line Oracle support, managing escalated incidents to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Plan and execute testing for Oracle Fusion change requests, supporting robust validation and safe deployment.
  • Develop and maintain OTBI analyses, dashboards, and SQL extracts to provide accurate reporting and support informed decision making.
  • Maintain data integrity, system security in line with organisational policy, audit requirements, and data protection standards.
  • Manage user access governance, including licences, roles, and permissions, ensuring least privilege access and compliance.
  • Contribute to quarterly update cycles, including test execution, issue management, and post release validation.
Qualifications

  • Operate effectively in Agile or Dev Ops environments.
  • Experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud or similar enterprise HR systems.
  • Knowledge of Oracle reporting, integration, and data tools (e.g. OTBI, BI Publisher, OCI, APIs).
  • Strong SQL and data handling skills.
  • Understanding of Oracle HCM/ERP data models and security.
  • Relevant Oracle HCM Cloud certifications.
