Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain KVM-based virtualization environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtual machines.
- Optimize KVM performance and ensure high availability of virtualized infrastructure. Implement security best practices for KVM environments.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Open Shift clusters in on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. Monitor and troubleshoot Open Shift workloads, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage Open Shift networking, storage, and security configurations. Perform upgrades and patching of Open Shift clusters and associated components.
- Implement monitoring solutions for KVM and Open Shift environments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations for resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with development, Dev Ops, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
