The acquisition by the UK Ministry of Defence in 2021 has secured our role as a critical supplier to the next generation of UK defence programmes. Our 64‑acre site in the heart of Sheffield is undergoing a 10‑year programme of plant and equipment modernisation, creating new opportunities for the business and our colleagues.

Role Overview

We are looking for an HR Data Analyst for an 18‑24 month fixed‑term contract. The role involves supporting the implementation of a new HRIS, identifying and resolving data discrepancies, optimising data workflows, and ensuring integration, reporting and analytics that align with HR and business objectives.

Role Responsibilities
  • Collate existing employee and payroll data.
  • Cleanse, validate and migrate data into the new HRIS.
  • Gather data requirements.
  • Develop and execute data migration and testing plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and issues.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security and compliance throughout the process.
  • Create and maintain data documentation and reporting guidelines.
  • Analyse and generate actionable data insights for HR and business teams.
  • Provide training on data management and reporting tools.
  • Support the development of automated data processes and workflows.
  • Monitor and maintain ongoing data quality post‑implementation.
About You
  • Data cleansing and validation experience.
  • Data migration and integration knowledge.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and related systems.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security standards.
  • Project management and planning abilities.
  • Technical proficiency with data management tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, ETL processes).
Days / Hours of Work

37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with flexible start and finish times between 06:15 – 09:30 and 14:30 – 18:00.
