Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer – Open Shift Virtualization

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for Open Shift Virtualization using tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of Open Shift clusters and virtualized workloads.

Develop and maintain reusable IaC modules and playbooks for consistent and scalable deployments.

Collaborate with Dev Ops, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to integrate Open Shift Virtualization with CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtualized workloads and infrastructure for performance and reliability.

Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in all IaC implementations.

Document processes, configurations, and best practices for IaC and Open Shift Virtualization.

Required

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 7 + year experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

Minimum 3 + year hands-on experience with Open Shift Virtualization and Kubernetes.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab, ArgoCD, etc.).

Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.

Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Knowledge of security best practices for containerized and virtualized environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
