IT Systems Technician

7 Steel Service - Sheffield (Training in Lichfield & South for Initial 6 Months)

Joining our IT Team as an IT System Technician, you will support our Northern depots to maintain and enhance our Fabrication and Production IT Systems, to ensure efficiency, uptime and data accuracy.

• Communicating with system users to investigate and resolve problems
• Support hardware, network and software applications as required
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across workstations, servers and networked machinery
• Manage system backups and restoration processes in line with company policies to safeguard data integrity

You will have a background in IT Support roles, and experience of troubleshooting, advance workshop, and programming. You will be proficient in analysis and problem solving to resolve issues efficiently, as well as having excellent communication skills to support users and stakeholders. What is most important to us is that you’re adaptable, excited to learn, and bring a progressive, positive, and continuous improvement mindset to your work and the team.

This role will involve regular travel to our UK & Ireland depots. Candidates will require a valid UK Driving License and access to a vehicle.
