Family Solicitor (NQ+) – Legal 500 Firm – South Yorkshire
Location: South Yorkshire

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in South Yorkshire is looking to expand its Family team and is inviting applications from newly qualified solicitors with a passion for family law. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected practice with a supportive team and a strong local reputation.

You’ll join a busy and welcoming department handling a broad range of private family law matters. With guidance and supervision from senior colleagues, you'll have the chance to develop your own caseload and gradually build confidence in the following areas:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Children Act matters
• Cohabitation disputes and civil partnerships
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
• Family Law Act proceedings (e.g. non-molestation and occupation orders)

• A newly qualified solicitor (NQ–2 PQE) with a training seat or strong interest in family law
• A confident communicator with excellent client care skills
• Someone eager to develop advocacy experience and represent clients at court
• A team player who shares the firm’s values and is happy to get involved in community-based initiatives

• A structured development path with support from experienced family lawyers
• A varied and hands‑on caseload suited to your level of experience
