As a Trainee Costs Lawyer / Costs Draftsman, you’ll be involved in meaningful and varied work across the costs process, including:

• Preparing Bills of Costs for Detailed and Provisional Assessment and supporting litigation through the Court process.
• Interacting with clients — taking instructions, providing advice, and building professional confidence through real case involvement.
• Supporting fee earners with technical costs guidance and helping stakeholders understand the costs position.
• Delivering work that supports outstanding outcomes for clients and contributes to the success of the firm.

We’re seeking candidates who:

• Have experience either in house or with an external supplier of costs drafting.

• Work well both independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
