Are you a Lawyer/Solicitor looking to move away from general practice and do something a little different?

Our client is a niche practice based in Brighton/Hove operating since 1997 providing advice and legal services to clients within the recruitment and services industry, this encompasses a mix of Employment law, Business to Business Contacts and Compliance (you do not need experience in all these areas as training can be provided – an understanding of B2B contracts would be required).

Working in an open plan office the successful individual will be joining an experienced team of ex lawyers and HR professionals you will be acting for a range of clients in the recruitment industry providing advice and assisting with drafting amendment to contracts/documents including employment contracts, B2B, Service agreements and attending business on site checking they fully compliant with up to date regulations (including the incoming Employment Rights Act).

The practice also holds and attends various seminars often inviting government spokespersons to present on key topics, the firm also have discussions with the trade association for recruitment businesses involved in supply of agency workers and contractors, civil servants in DBT and HMRC. A willingness to also attend networking events (mainly in London) is also required.

An opportunity for career progression is on offer, generous salary and bonus scheme on offer – some Hybrid working considered after probationary period. Part-time working also considered (min 3 days).
