Maintenance Operative

MCR Property Group is a leading independent real estate investment and development company, we have a strong UK presence with offices in key cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow. Our primary focus lies in developing new residential and industrial projects and managing a diverse portfolio, which includes around 5,000 residential plots and commercial/industrial assets exceeding £2 billion in value.

We are looking to grow our current maintenance team. We’re looking for someone who is flexible with their hours and has a range of skills, who can meet the site needs. You will be expected to travel to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all maintenance repairs, planned preventative facilities tasks and project work as directed in order to ensure that operational support is provided to the establishment at all times.
• To ensure that all works are undertaken in a safe manner in accordance with good practice and current legislation.
• To undertake project work as directed by the Project Manager.
• To communicate effectively and work productively with all other staff.
• All work to be carried out to the relevant trade standards
• Ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times.
• Undertake duties, as required, that contribute to the effective operation of the prison.
• To work in accordance with all MCR policies and procedures

Requirements

• Understanding of safety rules
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent time management
• Driving license & access to a car
• Background in construction or building maintenance
• CSCS card – desirable
