Facilities Maintenance Technician Up to £35,000  Quarterly Bonus  Private Medical Sheffield Monday to Friday | 37.5 Hours | Flexible Start (7am9am) Are you someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in your work, and likes fixing problems before they become bigger issues? This is a newly created Facilities Maintenance Technician role supporting a large manufacturing site in Sheffield. No two days are the same one day you could be carrying out building maintenance, the next maintaining the site grounds, repairing fixtures, or supporting general improvement projects across the business.

If you're a practical, hands-on person who enjoys keeping sites safe, tidy and operating efficiently, this could be an excellent long-term opportunity. The Role Facilities Maintenance Technician Carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance Painting, decorating and basic joinery repairs Basic plumbing and non-intrusive electrical maintenance Grounds maintenance including mowing, hedge cutting, pruning and general site upkeep Maintaining drainage systems, gutters and external areas Replacing lighting components and carrying out routine building inspections Supporting preventative maintenance of buildings and facilities Moving equipment and assisting with general site maintenance projects Working across multiple company sites as required Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping What We're Looking For

Experience with in facilities maintenance, building maintenance or site maintenance Good all-round practical maintenance skills Experience carrying out basic plumbing, decorating, joinery or electrical repairs Comfortable using hand and power tools Full UK driving licence Self-motivated with a proactive approach

Experience with in manufacturing, industrial or commercial environments would be advantageous This role would suit Facilities Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Operatives, Building Maintenance Technicians, Caretakers, Estates Operatives, Site Maintenance Operatives or Property Maintenance Engineers looking for a varied Monday-to-Friday position.
