** Bus/PSV Mechanic
*** Based at our Ecclesfield depot, located at Sheffield
* Pay rate of £17.70 per hour
* Shift pattern of Monday – Friday
** Looking for a hands-on mechanical role where your skills keep the community moving?
** We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Bus/PSV Mechanic to join our friendly team at Stagecoach Yorkshire Whether you’re from a truck, HGV, automotive, plant, or rail background, This is your opportunity to work on a modern and varied fleet, including hybrid and electric vehicles, supported by ongoing training as technology and vehicle systems continue to evolve.
** What you’ll be doing:
*** Maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses to DVSA and Stagecoach safety standards
* Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
* Carrying out routine inspections, servicing, and occasional roadside repairs
* Supporting apprentices by sharing your knowledge and experience
* Working safely and efficiently as part of a collaborative depot team

* What we’re looking for:

*** NVQ Level 3 in HGV or PSV Maintenance (or equivalent)
* Hands-on experience working on commercial or specialist vehicles
* A safety-first attitude and strong attention to detail
* A team player with good communication skills
* Previous experience working on buses or large passenger vehicles (desirable)
