Location:

Salary: £37,361 - £43,361 + Extensive Benefits.

My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of specialist metal alloys and associated products. It is a well‑established producer for global markets, with plants in the UK, Europe, Asia and the Americas and over 75 years of experience. The UK site is expanding due to further investment within this globally secure organisation.

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience of PLC systems & heavy machinery.
• Understanding of PPM systems.

You will have completed a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering. You will work in a medium‑to‑heavy manufacturing environment on forge machinery, furnaces, overhead cranes, bandsaws, heat treatment bays, precision machines, PLCs, motors and inverter drives. The role requires a proactive approach; you will take part in waste‑reduction initiatives on site. As part of the maintenance function, you will be encouraged to get involved with process‑improvement initiatives along with planned and preventative maintenance, ensuring maximum output with minimal disruption to production.
