Salary: NJC 3-4 £ 10.052 - £10,210 (£12.85 - £13.05 per hour) + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits

As a lead cleaner you will be responsible for ensuring all cleaning tasks in the school are complete daily, during times when the cleaning supervisor is not available.

• You should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking.
• Although you will at times work under the direction of the cleaning supervisor, you should be able to work both in a team and independently, and be able to lead the team in absence of the cleaning supervisor.
• Experienced in cleaning large premises and familiarity with COSHH requirements is desirable, although training will be given.
• This is a physical role, you must be able to complete manual and physical cleaning tasks including carrying equipment and moving light furniture such as chairs and tables at times in order to be able to clean effectively.
• Able to commit to the stated weekly working hours.
