Facilities Support Assistant (Cleaning) – Sheffield

Location:

Sheffield.

Salary: £13.69 per hour.

Full Time – Monday to Friday – 37 hours.

Contract:

Initial one month contract with possible extension.

We are looking for a reliable Facilities Assistant to support the Facilities Officer/Manager with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the site. This is a hands-on role, helping to ensure the premises and outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general cleaning duties across the site.
Collect and dispose of rubbish and waste safely.
Assist with grounds maintenance, including weeding, shrub pruning, and general outdoor upkeep.
Undertake minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks as required.
Help maintain a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
This role would suit someone with experience in facilities, caretaking, maintenance, or grounds maintenance who is practical, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
