Location:
Sheffield.
Salary: £13.69 per hour.
Full Time – Monday to Friday – 37 hours.
Contract:
Initial one month contract with possible extension.
We are looking for a reliable Facilities Assistant to support the Facilities Officer/Manager with the day-to‑day maintenance and upkeep of the site. This is a hands‑on role, helping to ensure the premises and outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general cleaning duties across the site.
- Collect and dispose of rubbish and waste safely.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, including weeding, shrub pruning, and general outdoor upkeep.
- Undertake minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks as required.
- Help maintain a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
- This role would suit someone with experience in facilities, caretaking, maintenance, or grounds maintenance who is practical, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
