Position: Contract Manager (Property Services)

Job Description

  • Salary scale 5B £41,576 - £45,287 per annum, pro rata
  • 37 hours per week

More About the Role
  • Responsible for delivering maintenance services for SYHA assets and customers
  • Manage contracts and officers delivering responsive repairs contracts through an in‑house team and subcontractors
  • Maintain broad knowledge of statutory compliance for servicing, especially Live Well schemes and communal facilities
  • Deliver and monitor DMC works and reports in response to Awaabs law
  • Manage disrepair claims and cases
  • Lead a team of Property Services Officers delivering contracts
  • Oversee void works and manage Stock Condition data
  • Report to Head of Maintenance
Who You Are
  • Strong line‑management and team leadership skills
  • IT proficiency for project management and experience with housing management systems
  • Excellent organisational and recording abilities
  • Budget management competence
  • Good problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements for social housing and registered care schemes
  • Familiarity with gas servicing regulation and legislation
  • Technical knowledge of construction and building maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about customers and service delivery
