Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a well-established industrial services contractor based in Sheffield. The business delivers insulation and specialist services to the construction industry across sites in the UK.

This is a great chance for a Health and Safety Manager to join a growing business and have real impact.

Responsibilities for Health and Safety Manager will include:

Lead health and safety across sites and projects, making sure policies and procedures are in place and up to date
Visit sites, speak with managers and operatives, and give clear health and safety advice
Manage the day to day running of the health and safety team
Work closely with clients and other external parties
Lead accident and near miss reviews and make sure they are reported properly The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

Experience in a similar health and safety role, ideally within construction or industrial services
A NEBOSH General or equivalent
Good organisation skills and the ability to manage different priorities
Solid knowledge of health, safety and environmental rules and best practice
