Senior Registered Manager – 4 Bed EBD Children’s Home

Salary: £53,000-£62,000

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking to lead a high-quality 4-bed EBD children’s home in Sheffield?
Do you want the autonomy to shape standards, drive outstanding practice, and make a lasting difference in young people’s lives?
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Manager to lead an established Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) residential provision, ensuring exceptional care, strong Ofsted compliance and positive outcomes for children and young people.
The Role:
* Lead and manage a 4-bed EBD children’s residential home
* Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
* Drive high-quality, trauma-informed and child-centred care
* Build, develop and inspire a strong residential team
* Oversee safeguarding, care planning and risk management
* Manage budgets, resources and staffing effectively
* Deliver positive inspection outcomes and continuous improvement
You will work closely with the Responsible Individual and take full accountability for the home’s operational, safeguarding and quality standards.
About You:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare (within the last 5 years)
* At least 1 year in a senior/management role
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or working towards
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and compliance frameworks
* Experienced in managing EBD services
* Confident leader with excellent safeguarding and crisis management skills
* Passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
