Technical Manager

Leadership Role | Full P&L Responsibility | UV Disinfection/Non-Chemical Disinfection

We are seeking an experienced Disinfection Systems Manager to lead and grow a high-impact division specialising in advanced air, surface, and water disinfection solutions.

This is a senior leadership opportunity with full end-to-end P&L accountability, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will drive strategic growth, commercial performance, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across a portfolio serving safety-critical and highly regulated markets.

As General Manager of the Disinfection Division
, you will define and execute the long-term strategy, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure sustained profitability and market leadership.

This role requires a commercially astute and technically credible leader who thrives in regulated, technology-driven environments.

• Develop and execute long-term divisional strategy aligned with corporate objectives
• Drive market positioning across air, surface, and water disinfection portfolios
• Identify and deliver organic growth opportunities
• Monitor industry trends, customer demands, and regulatory developments
• Own revenue growth, pricing strategy, and margin performance
• Lead sales strategy, channel development, and key account management
• Oversee major tenders, bid strategy, and strategic negotiations
• Build and develop a high-performing commercial organisation
• Own the product portfolio and future roadmap
• Partner with R&D and engineering to drive innovation and differentiation
• Ensure solutions meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards
• Full P&L ownership including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Drive margin improvement, cost control, and capital allocation decisions
• Ensure effective manufacturing, delivery, installation, and service operations
• Champion quality, safety, and reliability across all activities

• Lead and develop senior managers and functional leaders
• Foster a strong culture of performance, accountability, and safety
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and quality standards
• Report divisional performance and risk to executive leadership

• Proven experience leading a business unit or division with full P&L responsibility
• Strong commercial and sales leadership in technical or regulated sectors
• Background in disinfection, life sciences, water treatment, environmental technologies, or related industries
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technical and commercial teams
• Strong financial acumen and strategic capability
• Executive presence with customers, partners, and regulatory bodies

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related discipline
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in relevant industries
