Future Gen Recruitment is representing a respected Yorkshire consultancy seeking an MRTPI Associate Planner to help lead its residential planning portfolio and support continued growth.

This is a pivotal role combining high-level planning delivery with increasing commercial and team responsibilities.

You will:

• Lead major residential planning strategies and site promotions
• Manage key developer and land promoter accounts
• Oversee and mentor junior planners
• Support business development and fee proposals
• Represent clients at Local Plan examinations and appeals
• Ensure high-quality planning submissions across the team
• Support workload planning and project resourcing

You will play a central role in shaping both project delivery and team performance.

• Strong consultancy or developer background
• Proven ability to manage complex planning schemes
• Commercially driven and growth-minded
• Experience mentoring or managing staff

This role offers a clear pathway toward Associate Director for the right individual.
