The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified ASHP Manager to join our team in a pivotal office-based role, overseeing and supporting field operations. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned heating engineer or technical manager ready to transition into a leadership position that blends operational oversight, technical support, and strategic coordination.

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of heating system installations across multiple sites, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency. From our Liverpool office, you’ll act as the central hub for field teams, design engineers, and clients, driving performance, resolving issues, and maintaining high standards across all projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate field operations for heating system installations across residential and commercial sites.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to on-site engineers and internal design teams.
  • Review and approve heating system designs, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions remotely and on-site when needed.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for compliance, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.
  • Support training and development of field engineers and junior staff.
Qualifications
  • Fully qualified heating engineer with extensive experience in system design and installation.
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in field operations or project management.
  • Strong understanding of ASHP standards, building regulations, and energy efficiency practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solution-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while managing remote teams.
  • Proficient in using digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and technical documentation.
  • Office-based experience is beneficial but not essential. Training and support will be provided.
What We Offer
  • A stable, full-time office role with significant influence over field operations.
  • A supportive team environment focused on innovation and sustainability.
  • Opportunities to contribute to the UK's energy efficiency and decarbonisation goals.
  • Career development, training, and progression pathways.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
