- Manage the day-to-day Project Controls team across the programme
- Lead planning, cost, risk, forecasting, and reporting functions
- Coordinate budgets and financial reporting with finance teams and supply chain partners
- Support the Programme Director with progress reports, schedule updates, and variance analysis
- Deliver weekly and monthly programme reporting in line with governance requirements
- Ensure consistent project controls processes and standards across the programme
- Provide guidance to Project Managers and contractors on project controls best practice
- Monitor programme performance across cost, schedule, risk, and contracts
- Establish and manage baseline budgets and schedules
- Lead and oversee teams including Heads of Function and wider delivery personnel
- Manage stakeholder relationships with contractors, consultants, and external partners
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive performance across delivery teams
- Support assurance and governance activities within a regulated infrastructure environment
- Monitor contractor and supply chain performance against programme objectives
Degree qualification or equivalent professional experience
Experience- Significant experience in Project Controls, Programme Management, or Commercial Management
- Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure programmes
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. nuclear, rail, energy, utilities, defence)
- Strong knowledge of Governance and PMO processes
- Strong knowledge of Strategic planning
- Strong knowledge of Risk analysis and management
- Strong knowledge of Cost control and forecasting
- Strong knowledge of Construction delivery
- Strong knowledge of Contract/commercial management
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders
- Leadership experience managing large multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
