Director – Lead Transformation Across Local Government
As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking exceptional people to help us deliver complex transformation programmes and support the next stage of Newtrality’s growth. Our work programme is varied including delivery of major cost reduction programmes, progressing complex ERP implementations and supporting wider reorganisation.
About the roleWe’re looking for a Director who wants to shape the future of Local Government as it goes through one of its largest transformations to date, as well support change and complex transformation across the wider public sector.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, builds trust at the highest levels, and delivers work that genuinely improves outcomes for people and places.
As a Director, you’ll lead a portfolio of high‑profile programmes, strengthen and grow executive‑level client relationships, and play a central role in steering the strategic direction of our business. You’ll bring a blend of strategic insight, commercial acumen and delivery excellence, and use it to help councils navigate some of their toughest challenges.

- Experience of working at a Senior level as a consultant/Director, having delivered complex change within the sector
- The ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder programmes with clarity and impact
- A commercial mindset that drives sustainable growth and spots opportunities and value-add
- A commitment to developing others and fostering a high‑performance culture
- This is a role for someone who wants to influence system‑wide change, build something that lasts, and be part of a consultancy that is ambitious, values‑driven and deeply connected to the sector it serves.
- You will have extensive experience of working with Local Government organisations, either from within the sector or in a consulting capacity, and be recognised for helping leaders navigate complex transformation, improvement and organisational change.
