R&M Team Manager

The R&M Team Manager will lead operational frontline teams within the Customer Network Operations department, ensuring safe, timely repair and maintenance activities to deliver quality drinking water services.

• Ensure that all work on the clean water network (pipework) in your area of control is carried out safely, with no injuries to employees, contractors or the public.
• Support and develop excellent performance management of your team to deliver a fast and quality repair service, ensuring all leaks are fixed within 24 hours and customer shortages are minimised.
• Drive performance to meet ODI performance targets and CMEX customer performance measures, reducing job suspensions and rejects.
• Communicate daily with teams, sharing performance and leading improvement and sustainability initiatives through Comm Cell and continuous improvement processes.
• Work closely with Scheduling, 24/7 dispatch, Network Control and internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless repair workflows.

• Proven track record managing, leading and inspiring teams in a high‑pressure, customer‑focused environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, establishing productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with Distribution Networks and technical understanding of repair/maintenance of water distribution systems and associated support activities.
• Full UK driver’s licence and willingness to work a standby rota and travel across the region.
