We are looking for a positive, proactive and enthusiastic Member Engagement Manager to build and strengthen relationships with members, prospective members and industry stakeholders across the South‑West region, including growers, retailers, manufacturers/suppliers and associates. In this role, you will support membership growth and retention, promote Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) products and services, and ensure members receive a high‑quality experience that helps them get the most from their membership.

  • This is a hugely exciting time for the sector and for the HTA. Gardens and managed green spaces and landscapes have never been more important to the UK – for the economy, for the environment and for the nation’s well‑being. As the industry continues to evolve, the HTA is evolving too, ensuring we continue to meet the changing needs of our membership and the wider sector.
  • This is a rare opportunity to play a key role within a highly respected national membership organisation. Working closely with members across the South‑West, you'll build meaningful relationships, ensure members' voices are heard, and contribute to the development of our services and support.
  • A role where your ideas, initiative and enthusiasm will truly matter. You'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact and help shape the future direction of the HTA.

We are committed to creating an environment where you can develop your skills, grow your career, and make a genuine difference.

What we can offer you
  • A meaningful role where you'll have the autonomy to take ownership, contribute ideas and help shape improvements
  • A competitive salary and generous benefits package, including 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, bonus plan, pension, health cash plan, life assurance, employee discount scheme, employee assistance programme, cycle to work and electric vehicle schemes, and free on‑site parking with EV charging facilities
  • A comprehensive induction programme, providing structured support and training
  • Access to ongoing learning and development opportunities to help you build your skills, broaden your experience, and grow your career at the HTA
  • Support and coaching from experienced and approachable managers who are invested in helping you succeed
