Quality Technician

Job Title Quality Technician Location Sheffield
** Purpose of the role:
** In this capacity, your role and responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:§   Support all aspects of Quality operations at McLaren Composites Technology Centre§   Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality concerns are contained§   Conduct product and process audits to ensure adherence to internal quality management system

Knowledge, skills & experience:§   

Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential§   

Experience of working with composites manufacturing processes and in a quality role is advantageous§   Understanding of automotive processes (APQP & PPAP) is advantageous but not essential§   Awareness of appropriate health and safety standards is essential§   PC literate with ability to process data in Microsoft excel§   Knowledge of Automotive quality systems is advantageous§   

Experience of niche vehicle (low volume) programmes desirable

Personal Attributes:§   Passionate, enthusiastic and committed, with a can-do attitude§   Effective communication and inter-personal skills§   A keen eye for detail and customer focus is required§   Self-driven individual, who can also work within a team§   Self-directed/managed and motivated towards achieving goals§   Comfortable to challenge peers§   Valid Passport and Driving License§   Right to work in the UK§   Good IT skills§   Flexible approach to working
