About You

You enjoy being part of a fast‑moving, hands‑on environment where things are made, processed, and produced ustrial settings do not put you off, and you are comfortable around machinery, systems, and structured processes. You like the idea of playing an important role in keeping operations running smoothly and take pride in doing things properly.

You are reliable, consistent, and understand the importance of following procedures and safety rules carefully. Staying focused during repetitive tasks or long production cycles is something you can handle, and you are able to respond calmly and methodically when things change. You are also confident carrying out checks, recording information, and helping maintain quality standards.

You learn best by doing and want to build your skills through practical experience. You are comfortable working as part of a team, communicating clearly, and taking responsibility for your part in the process. Most of all, you are motivated by the idea of building a long‑term career in manufacturing and developing your skills over time.

Apprenticeship Eligibility To Apply For This Apprenticeship, You Must
  • Be 16 or over
  • Not be in full‑time education
  • Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Have the right to work in the UK

Apprenticeships are designed to provide new knowledge, skills and behaviours, so applicants should not already hold a Level 3, degree or higher qualification in a closely related subject, or have significant experience in the same field.

What will I be doing as an apprentice? You’ll start your career as a chemical manufacturing technician and gain hands‑on experience supporting production in a highly controlled industrial environment.

As part of this Level 3 Process Industries Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to operate and maintain large‑scale chemical processes, monitor production, and ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards.
