• Pay:
  Up to £44,000 per annum
• Hours of Work:
  Rotating shift pattern – 6 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm, 10 pm to 6 am
  Shift schedule:
  • Week 1:
    Morning Shift
  • Week 2:
    Morning Shift
  • Week 3:
    Night Shift
  • Week 4:
    Afternoon Shift + Weekend on‑call

As a Tool Maker
, you’ll be responsible for assembling, fitting and repairing tools used in a manufacturing setting, specifically injection moulding tools. Daily tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, marking out designs, and using hand tools and machinery such as lathes, grinders and milling machines to manufacture or repair tools. You will monitor tool performance on production lines, attend breakdowns and contribute to tool maintenance and reporting duties.

• Proven background in tool repair and installation work
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, milling and lathe operations
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Competence in using precision measuring equipment
• C&G/NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

• Abrasive Wheels Regulations certification
• CAD/CAM experience or qualifications
• Experience working with injection moulding machinery or tooling

.

Operate manual milling machines, perform tool changing and interpret engineering drawings. Work with machines such as Bridgeport, Colchester Mastiff, Binns & Berry, Tiger and KRV
2000 to produce bespoke and small‑batch orders to tight tolerances.

• Pay:
  Up to £40,000 per annum
• Hours of Work:
  Monday – Thursday 8 am – 4:30 pm;
  Friday 8 am – 1 pm
• Duration:
  Permanent
