Job Description

Reed Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading engineering & manufacturing company.

A Raw Materials / Stores role in a safety‑critical alloy manufacturing environment. The main responsibility is accurately managing, storing, and preparing raw materials for production.

• Stock control / materials handling

• Weighing and preparing materials
• Working with cranes / forklifts (training provided if needed)

• Accurately managed stock and material storage within a process‑driven environment
• Followed strict QA procedures, ensuring full traceability and compliance with standards
• Received and checked incoming goods against delivery documentation
• Weighed and prepared materials with high attention to detail and precision
• Maintained high standards of housekeeping in line with health & safety requirements
• Worked independently for extended periods while meeting productivity and quality targets
• Supported inventory control and material usage tracking
• Warehouse / metals experience or stores ideally within a metals background advantageous
• Operated material handling equipment (FLT / cranes where applicable)
• Coordinated incoming and outgoing deliveries efficiently
• Contributed to continuous improvement and audit activities

DAYS ONLY – includes a bonus of up to 15%, which equates to a bonus of up to £4,707 on top of the basic salary.
