Mig Welder​/Fabricator

Overview

Winner Recruitment are proud to have partnered with a growing manufacturer in Sheffield S20 and we are currently looking for MIG welder/fabricators.

Pay around £17 DOE

Working hours:

Mon - Fri, 7:00am – 4:30pm

• MIG weld and fabricate recycling machinery and equipment.
• Read and work from engineering drawings.
• Assemble and weld machine frames, conveyors, hoppers, and other components.
• Cut, grind, drill, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Check finished work meets quality standards.
• Use workshop tools and fabrication equipment safely.
• Carry out basic repairs and modifications when needed.
• Work as part of the production team to meet deadlines.
• Keep the workshop clean, tidy, and safe.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and wear the correct PPE.
• Assist with machine assembly and testing where required.

• Experience in MIG welding and fabrication in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
• Health and safety conscious; able to follow procedures and wear PPE.
