Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
£18.00 per hour
Hours40 hours per week – Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Fabricator Welder to join our manufacturing team.
The RoleAs a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding a wide range of steel components and assemblies used in the manufacture and repair of recycling machinery. Working from engineering drawings, you will ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate and weld mild steel components using MIG welding techniques.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
- Assemble fabricated parts and machinery to required tolerances.
- Operate fabrication equipment including band saws, drills, grinders, and cutting equipment.
- Carry out fitting, assembly, and finishing work as required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Assist with site installation and maintenance work when required.
- Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder.
- Competent in MIG welding mild steel.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience fabricating medium to heavy steelwork.
- Good understanding of fabrication processes and workshop machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Experience in the manufacture or repair of recycling, quarrying, or heavy industrial machinery.
- TIG or MMA welding experience.
- Forklift, overhead crane, or telehandler certification.
- CSCS card.
- Full UK driving licence.
- £18.00 per hour.
- 40-hour working week on a permanent day shift.
