Travis Talent is recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist on behalf of an established manufacturing business in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience of CNC milling and turning to join a supportive engineering team. Youll be responsible for setting and operating single and multi-axis machinery, producing precision components to specification and contributing to improvements across the manufacturing process.

The Role

Reporting to the CNC Machining Team Leader and Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines.
• Operating single and multi-axis CNC machinery.
• Producing components in line with production schedules, drawings and product specifications.
• Writing, proving and adjusting CNC programs.
• Developing manufacturing processes for new products and engineering requirements.
• Using handheld measuring equipment to inspect completed components.
• Identifying and reporting quality issues or areas of non-conformance.
