The Opportunity

A leading engineering & manufacturing organisation is seeking a Forge Supervisor to join its operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven production leader to take responsibility for a key manufacturing area, driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity and people development.

Working within a fast-paced industrial environment, you will lead a team to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Lead daily forge operations to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.
• Monitor and improve departmental KPIs including OEE, productivity, inventory control and cost performance.
• Manage resources, equipment and manpower to optimise production efficiency.
• Support production scheduling and adjust plans where required to maintain customer commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department.

Health, Safety & Environmental

• Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Complete risk assessments, safe working procedures and accident investigations.
