We are looking for technical, enthusiastic and flexible people with a keen eye for detail, and who can quickly integrate into our operations and contribute from day one. Candidates should ideally have experience operating production machinery, maintaining quality standards, and following established safety procedures. However,experience is preferred rather than essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Based at our Riverside Works site and reporting to a shift leader, your main task will be to operate the production machines, hand assembly jigs and packaging equipment whilst ensuring the product quality is up to standard. Energy, enthusiasm and an ability to do some light lifting are crucial.
What you’ll be doing :The positions will also involve:
- operating machinery and equipment to high standards ensuring targets are achieved
- basic production fault finding to identify machinery/production inefficiencies
- reading and understanding relevant standard operating procedures
- performing manual assembly, using components, tools and equipment
- reading and understanding product route cards (MBO) and drawings
- inspection of finished products
- identifying defects with components or finished goods and reporting them accordingly
- undertaking asset care as part of your daily role
- maintaining and driving forward 5S standards
