MIG Welder - part time

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced

MIG Welder to join a well-established local business specialising in the design and manufacture of

TV, Wi-Fi and home security products
.

Pay: £17.00 per hour

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Local to the area

Job Type: Part-time

• MIG welding components to a high standard
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Preparing, assembling and positioning metal components
• Ensuring welds meet required quality and safety standards
• Inspecting finished work and identifying any defects
• Using welding equipment and hand tools safely and correctly
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all company health & safety procedures

• Previous MIG welding experience is essential
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and safety-conscious
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

This role would be ideal for an experienced welder looking for

part-time work
, including someone who is

semi-retired and looking to continue working a couple of days per week.
