Job Title:

MIG/TIG Welder

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Reporting To:
Production Manager / Fabrication Manager

• Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-3:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am-12:30pm
• 36.5 hours per week
• Overtime Available at 1.5X (Sunday 2x)

• 10% employer pension contribution
• 5% employee pension contribution
• £40,000 life insurance
• 25 Holiday days + Bank holidays

• Previous experience as a MIG/TIG Welder within a fabrication, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong practical MIG and TIG welding skills.
• Experience with preparation, measuring, grinding, drilling, and finishing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to safely use fabrication equipment and lifting equipment where trained.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.

• MIG and TIG welding of fabricated components.
• Preparing, aligning, and tack-welding components to drawings and specifications.
• Setting up and safely operating welding and fabrication equipment.
• Checking finished work for quality and accuracy.
• Reporting defects or production issues to management.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Following all company Health & Safety and quality procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
